If you know the benefits of making aspirations, who would want to work so hard for so little returns? The so-called benefits of making aspirations is that a grain of rice given is multiplied by infinity; a lamp lit is multiplied by infinity; one prostration to the Buddha is multiplied by infinity... This is something that brings in great profits with very little effort, and profits are guaranteed with no losses. Now, who would be willing to disregard the importance of making aspirations?
